Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Analyze network traffic and logs to identify anomalous activities
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
- Participate in security awareness training and phishing simulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, threat analysis, or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and endpoint protection
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize threats under pressure
- Excellent written/verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
