Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation
- Develop and implement threat detection rules and playbooks for emerging attack vectors
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden systems and implement security best practices
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive dashboards on security posture
- Stay current with evolving cyber threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Participate in red team exercises and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, and firewall technologies
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Knowledge of forensic investigation tools (EnCase, FTK Imager)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
