Responsibilities
- Monitor security information systems (SIEM) for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Document security incidents, forensic analysis, and remediation protocols
- Lead security awareness training programs for cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with SIEM platform experience (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and incident response protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
