Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalies
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Perform vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys
- Develop playbooks for common attack vectors (phishing, ransomware)
- Collaborate with network teams on firewall rule optimization
- Generate executive security dashboards and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations
- Certified in Security+ or CISSP (required)
- Proficient in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Knowledge of NIST CSF and GDPR compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
