Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents
- Implement vulnerability management protocols across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden network infrastructure
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
- Stay current on emerging threats (APT groups, zero-day exploits)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with SIEM implementation and analysis
- CompTIA Security+/CEH/CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) frameworks
- Strong knowledge of NIST CSF and CIS Controls
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for non-technical stakeholders
