Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop and implement incident response plans for cyber threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce NIST 800-53 compliance standards
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
- Lead security awareness training for cross-functional teams
- Manage firewall configurations and IDS/IPS systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Knowledge of Arctic-specific cybersecurity challenges
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts for 24/7 operations
- DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
