Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and coordinate incident response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on threat intelligence and emerging cyber threats
- Assist with compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with threat detection methodologies and forensics
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for technical reporting
