Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and coordinate breach response
- Develop and optimize security playbooks for threat detection
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration test reviews
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity analysis experience
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification preferred
- Expertise in NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Proficiency with IDS/IPS, EDR, and network security tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure incident response scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
