Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies compliant with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and harden systems
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Stay current with emerging threats and countermeasures through continuous research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
