Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting, forensic analysis, and malware investigations
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Generate comprehensive incident response reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with red teams to simulate advanced attack scenarios
- Implement security controls across cloud and on-premises environments
- Stay current on emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK framework updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification (or equivalent)
- Expertise in network security, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP security)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 SOC environment
