Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and anomalies
- Conduct forensic investigations on security breaches
- Implement NIST-compliant security controls and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams on vulnerability patching
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports
- Develop threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Perform penetration testing on internal systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on SOC analyst experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
