Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and lead forensic analysis
- Develop and implement intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Create detailed security incident reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden network infrastructure
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common attack vectors
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
