Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with minimal downtime
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security incident response procedures
- Generate comprehensive threat intelligence reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen security architectures
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or similar role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
