Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of threat intelligence sources and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong analytical skills and ability to document complex findings
