Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks, runbooks, and incident reports
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices and infrastructure hardening
- Lead forensic investigations of security breaches and coordinate remediation efforts
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence briefings
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat detection
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Sentinel)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize high-pressure incidents
- BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
