Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM and SOC tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, including forensic analysis and root cause determination.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure network architecture and cloud environments.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Conduct security awareness training and workshops for internal staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security analysis, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency with security tools like Splunk, QRadar, or Snort.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
