Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency (FinOps)
- Lead cloud migration projects and legacy system modernization initiatives
- Develop monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement Kubernetes-based container orchestration
- Conduct disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and container orchestration
- Knowledge of network security principles and IAM best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
