Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems using observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
- Develop disaster recovery plans and implement high-availability architectures
- Conduct security audits and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Document architecture blueprints and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certification (AWS/Azure/GCP Professional level preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
