Responsibilities
- Design & Deploy: Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Security: Implement robust security measures, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance auditing.
- Maintenance: Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform routine maintenance to optimize cloud resource efficiency.
- Migration: Lead the migration of on-premise workloads to cloud environments, ensuring zero downtime and data integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and Software Engineering teams to define technical standards and best practices.
- Cost Management: Analyze cloud spending and implement strategies to optimize costs and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Administration.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
- Technologies: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and orchestration (Terraform, Ansible).
- Scripting: Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and scripting.
- Networking: Deep understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
