Responsibilities
- Design & Deploy: Architect, design, and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS and Azure.
- Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation to automate provisioning and management.
- Security: Implement and enforce security best practices, identity management (IAM), and compliance standards across all cloud environments.
- Monitoring: Configure and manage monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus) to ensure system reliability and performance optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and software engineering teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and enhance deployment workflows.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization: Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Professional preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
