Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design, implement, and maintain secure, highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) using best practices.
- Automation & DevOps: Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and deployment processes.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources to ensure high performance and cost-efficiency (FinOps).
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security protocols, manage IAM policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Collaboration: Partner with software development teams to integrate cloud services into CI/CD pipelines.
- Disaster Recovery: Design and execute robust disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Platforms: Proficiency in AWS or Azure, with strong understanding of core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes).
- Tools: Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash; experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Azure Administrator Certification preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
