Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural reviews and resource monitoring
- Implement robust security frameworks (IAM, VPC, encryption, compliance)
- Lead cloud migration projects for enterprise clients
- Develop monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical cloud environments
- Document architecture decisions and runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure certification
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPCs, VPNs, load balancing)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Security clearance eligibility or active clearance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
