Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and architectural improvements
- Lead CI/CD pipeline development and container orchestration strategies
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation with flexible scheduling options
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into cloud solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud service models (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana)
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Professional)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud environments for performance and cost
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
