Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring, automation, and architecture improvements
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to multi-cloud environments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps toolsets
- Provide 24/7 on-call support with rotating schedule for production incidents
- Document architecture decisions and maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior engineers through technical workshops and pair programming sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Professional level or equivalent)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management
- Understanding of network security best practices and zero-trust architectures
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud spend by 20%+
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours while meeting deadlines
