Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud costs while ensuring performance and security standards
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using Prometheus/Grafana
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance deployment automation
- Ensure compliance with Alaska-specific data sovereignty requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM, VPC design)
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)
