Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through continuous monitoring and automation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Lead cloud security initiatives and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams for resilience planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP/Azure certification
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code and automation (Ansible, Python)
- Strong background in Kubernetes orchestration and service mesh
- Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus)
- Proven ability to optimize cloud spending by 20%+
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication with cross-functional teams
