Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/Azure/GCP solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture reviews and resource automation
- Lead DevOps pipeline implementations with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Ensure 99.99% uptime through proactive monitoring (Datadog, CloudWatch)
- Automate deployment processes using Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Collaborate with security teams to implement compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2)
- Document architecture decisions and create runbooks for operational teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud engineering with 3+ years hands-on AWS/Azure experience
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and scripting (Python, Bash)
- Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD) or equivalent production experience
- Proven track record optimizing cloud spend and performance metrics
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems across multi-cloud environments
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
