We're seeking a passionate Cloud Engineer to architect, deploy, and optimize scalable cloud solutions for Fortune 500 clients. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 3 days per week from our downtown Chicago office.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency
- Lead container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) and CI/CD pipeline development
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2)
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and incident response for production systems
- Document architecture blueprints and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers through technical workshops and code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong background in Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
