Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving global regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across ML pipelines using Python and TensorFlow
- Collaborate with product teams to design ethical AI interfaces and explainability protocols
- Lead stakeholder workshops to translate technical risks into actionable governance policies
- Author public-facing transparency reports and contribute to industry ethics whitepapers
- Monitor emerging ethical threats through continuous research on adversarial AI and deepfake technologies
- Mentor junior engineers in responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 3+ years AI ethics experience
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and bias detection libraries (AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulatory landscapes (US, EU, APAC frameworks)
- Published work on algorithmic fairness, explainability, or societal impact of AI
- Experience with cross-functional ethics governance in regulated industries
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
