Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, state-level AI bills)
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and fairness assessments across AI systems
- Develop transparency protocols for AI decision-making processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical guidelines into AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder engagement on AI ethics initiatives, including internal teams and regulatory bodies
- Monitor emerging ethical risks and update governance policies proactively
- Train employees on responsible AI practices and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, Philosophy, or related field
- 3+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Expertise in AI ethics frameworks (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, OECD AI Principles)
- Strong understanding of global AI regulations and emerging standards
- Experience with bias detection tools and fairness metrics in ML systems
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, AIGPE) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
