Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 2026-era technologies including quantum AI, biocomputing, and decentralized autonomous systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of futurists, engineers, and data scientists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging trends and threat vectors impacting 2026 technology landscapes
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and human-machine symbiosis
- Present visionary blueprints to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for future-tech incubation projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3 infrastructure
- Published thought leadership in journals like Nature Futures or IEEE Spectrum
- Experience with scenario planning using tools like PESTLE and Delphi methodology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology commercializations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or Technology Innovation Management
