Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast emerging technology trends, including AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and more, with a focus on their potential impact on industry and society by 2026.
- Develop and present strategic foresight reports and scenarios to executive leadership, providing actionable recommendations for long-term planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate future insights into product development, marketing strategies, and business operations.
- Build and maintain a network of external experts, researchers, and thought leaders to stay at the cutting edge of technological innovation.
- Lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster a culture of innovation and future-oriented thinking within the organization.
- Monitor global technology developments, regulatory changes, and societal shifts that may influence our strategic direction.
- Contribute to thought leadership by publishing articles, speaking at conferences, and representing the company in industry forums.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Technology, Engineering, Business, or Futures Studies, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or technology consulting, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Deep understanding of current and emerging technology trends, including AI, machine learning, blockchain, and biotechnology.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate future scenarios to diverse audiences.
- Experience in developing strategic roadmaps and long-term planning documents.
