Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, decentralized systems)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future technologies into product development cycles
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Oversee R&D investments in futuristic technologies with 3-5 year horizons
- Champion innovation culture through internal hackathons and external tech summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology/Engineering preferred
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Strong understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Experience scaling technology teams in high-growth environments
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
