- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to identify emerging market opportunities
- Develop quantitative models forecasting technology disruption patterns using advanced analytics
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford AI Research on next-gen human augmentation projects
- Author quarterly industry briefs distributed to 10,000+ innovation stakeholders worldwide
- Manage $2M annual R&D budget for experimental technology incubation programs
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership at global conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of implementing foresight methodologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech convergence
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or Technology Forecasting (CTF)
- Published research in Nature Futures or Journal of Futures Studies (last 5 years)
- Proficiency in Python/R for predictive modeling and simulation development
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex scenarios to executive audiences
