Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients navigating AI integration, quantum computing adoption, and climate adaptation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership on future-of-work paradigms and sustainable business models
- Build and maintain proprietary predictive models using machine learning and big data analytics
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and systems thinking frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging tech trajectories: AGI, biotech convergence, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience visualizing complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or major industry publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future strategy implementations
