Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological and societal shifts
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, climate tech)
- Build predictive models for market disruption scenarios through 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for executive and board audiences
- Partner with R&D to identify breakthrough innovation opportunities
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech forecasting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong data visualization and storytelling abilities for complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ long-term strategy implementations
