Based in our San Francisco innovation hub, you'll collaborate with quantum computing specialists, neuro-ethicists, and climate modelers to anticipate paradigm shifts across biotech, AI governance, and sustainable infrastructure. Your insights will directly shape multi-billion-dollar investment decisions and next-gen product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities through horizon scanning and trend synthesis
- Develop 2026 strategic roadmaps for enterprise clients, integrating scenario planning with probabilistic forecasting models
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable innovation strategies
- Author high-impact white papers and thought leadership pieces published in MIT Tech Review and WEF journals
- Manage a $5M R&D portfolio for experimental futures prototyping in our Silicon Valley lab
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist analysts while maintaining industry thought leadership at Davos and TED conferences
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Computational Social Sciences from top-tier institution
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 clients or Big Tech innovation labs
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals or top-tier tech publications
- Expertise in probabilistic forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ enterprise-level trend reports that influenced billion-dollar decisions
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R) for trend modeling and data visualization
- Certification in Advanced Scenario Planning from WEF or similar institution
