Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with future market demands
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into R&D and product development
- Present trend briefings to executive teams and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for industry publications
- Mentor junior futurists to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of anticipating market disruptions (examples required)
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills
- Published work in futurism, technology, or business strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience leading global trend analysis initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ scenario planning projects
