Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, technological inflection points, and sociocultural shifts to map 3-5 year strategic horizons
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing adoption and decentralized AI governance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation initiatives with 2026 technological capabilities
- Produce foresight reports for executive leadership on climate tech and neurointerface developments
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify emerging startups in synthetic biology and space commerce
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and policy summits
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario modeling and trend impact assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI ethics, and climate tech trajectories
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy publications
- Proficiency in foresight platforms like Gartner or Futures Platform
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ horizon scanning frameworks implemented in enterprise settings
