Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, social, and economic disruptions
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Produce executive-ready scenario plans and innovation roadmaps for key industry verticals
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future concepts and accelerate commercialization
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external stakeholders
- Establish global networks with futurists, academics, and policy influencers
- Drive cross-functional adoption of foresight insights across product and marketing divisions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or emerging technologies
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, backcasting)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) strongly preferred
