Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify 2026-relevant disruptions across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy
- Develop scenario-planning models for 3-5 year strategic initiatives
- Translate complex future insights into executive-ready strategic recommendations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on emerging technology adoption
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author quarterly Future State Briefs for the Board of Directors
- Oversee implementation of agile innovation frameworks for 2026 readiness
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing future-focused roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP from APF) preferred
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative storytelling capabilities
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or digital transformation
