Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive foresight framework for 2026+ market trends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futuristic insights into corporate strategy and product roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for high-impact future states (e.g., AI governance, climate adaptation, quantum computing)
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports that inform R&D priorities and investment decisions
- Establish cross-functional innovation incubators for prototyping 2026-viable solutions
- Monitor global signals (tech, policy, cultural) through advanced data analytics and expert networks
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis at Fortune 500 level
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, clean energy)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with futures research frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi, cross-impact matrices)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (journal articles, conference talks)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or futureschool)
