Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, market disruptions, and socioeconomic trends impacting 2026
- Develop and present strategic scenarios, roadmaps, and innovation frameworks for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused insights into development lifecycles
- Lead cross-functional workshops on foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly trend briefings and strategic foresight reports for stakeholders
- Advise on M&A opportunities and investment strategies aligned with future market shifts
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systemic trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives for Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology, or business strategy publications
