Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and business strategy
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for tracking strategic foresight initiatives
- Represent the organization at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or innovation roles with futures thinking components
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of publishing influential foresight reports or thought leadership
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities with complex information
- Experience advising C-level executives on long-term strategic implications
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Global perspective with understanding of geopolitical, technological, and cultural megatrends
