Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech to identify 2026 disruptors
- Develop and maintain a living 'Future Playbook' with 5-10 year strategic scenarios
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in next-gen markets
- Design and facilitate 'Future Labs' with external partners and thought leaders
- Author annual 'State of 2026' reports for board and investor audiences
- Build an internal 'Future Intelligence' ecosystem and innovation framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record developing multi-year future scenarios and roadmaps
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology) and societal trends
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong executive presence with experience advising C-suite on transformation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (blogs, journals, books)
- Portfolio of 3+ future-proofed innovations implemented at scale
