Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and societal trends to forecast disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 future-state scenarios
- Lead cross-functional teams to incubate and launch breakthrough products/services targeting 2026 markets
- Partner with R&D to identify and integrate exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech)
- Establish 'future-proof' frameworks for organizational resilience in rapidly evolving ecosystems
- Deliver executive-level briefings on emerging risks and opportunities shaping 2026 business models
- Build and maintain ecosystem of futurists, VCs, and academic thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of developing and executing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex, multi-variable future scenarios
- Exceptional communication skills to translate foresight into compelling executive narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and rapid change
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field preferred
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) highly desirable
