Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, AI ethics frameworks, carbon-neutral tech)
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite to secure $50M+ innovation budgets for future-focused initiatives
- Present strategic insights to industry leaders at global tech summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation KPIs for 2026 deliverables
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in future-tech roles
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation projects
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi technique)
