Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Go and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Optimize microservices architecture for high-performance transactions
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with distributed systems
- Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and serverless technologies
- Proficient with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design
