Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify advanced persistent threats
- Lead incident response for zero-day exploits and ransomware attacks
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Develop playbooks for emerging attack vectors (IoT, cloud, supply chain)
- Collaborate with forensic teams to conduct post-breach analysis and remediation
- Present executive-level threat briefings to CISOs and security leadership
- Maintain compliance with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity threat analysis or SOC operations
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Expert (GXPN/GSNA)
- Expertise in network security tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR)
- Proven experience with threat intelligence platforms (Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container environments
- Experience leading incident response for ransomware attacks
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 security operations environment
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
