Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive threat hunting using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for zero-day vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security-by-design principles
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Generate executive-level security risk reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in threat hunting/IR
- Certifications: CISSP, GIAC (GCIH or GCFA), or OSCP
- Expertise in NIST 800-53 framework implementation
- Advanced knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK techniques
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
